Anzac Day

This term in week one and two we focused on Anzac Day and New Zealand's involvement in WW1 and WW2.



 This term in Room 16 We have been learning about
Anzac Day
 
The Best thing was Baking Anzac Cookies.
We also learnt interesting facts during
Reading Time. Check out our hand poppy display.
 
5 of the most interesting facts are:
 
-They used monkeys as mascots.
-Dogs went to War to smell the Enemy
-Stretcher-Bearers help the Wounded
-Food is carried from the field Kitchen
-Donkeys carry supplies
